Prefer Registered Record Administrator, Accredited Record Technician, or Certified Coding Specialist. Non-registered and/or non-accredited Health Record Analyst must have 2 years inpatient coding experience in ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 coding and/or attained a Coding Certificate. Must have good working knowledge of Medical Terminology, ICD-9-CM and CPT-4. Knowledge of DRG’s Medicare billing and reimbursement issues. Accurate data input skills.
